A MESSAGE FROM TIM

One of the hardest things in life is standing still long enough to really look at the person in the mirror.

Not the version of you the world applauds.
Not the version built on titles, success, survival, or reputation.
The real you.

Because growth begins the moment you stop managing your image and start confronting your truth.

Most people want change, but very few want the level of honesty that real change requires. Ego has a way of protecting old habits, old wounds, and old ways of thinking. We hold onto behaviors that once helped us survive or succeed, even when those same behaviors are now limiting our future.

At some point, every one of us has to ask:
Am I still becoming… or am I just repeating?

Self-awareness is rare. Letting go of ego? Even rarer.

Most people spend their entire lives defending who they've been instead of becoming who they need to be. They double down on what worked in the past, even when it's clearly not working anymore. They protect their image, their reputation, their identity and in doing so, they stop growing.

But the people who truly evolve? They're willing to look in the mirror and ask the hard question:

What got me here won't get me there. So what needs to change?

That’s the conversation we’re having this week with Marshall Goldsmith. Marshall has coached more top CEOs than anyone on the planet, and his work is built on one simple truth: successful people don’t fail because they lack talent. They fail because they can’t let go of the behaviors that made them successful in the first place.

If you've ever felt stuck despite doing everything “right,” this episode is going to shift your perspective.

And speaking of what’s next……. you’re hearing this first.

We just wrapped Nashville, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The energy. The connections. The transformations. It was powerful. And now, we’re doing it again.

Atlanta. June 20–21.

This is your chance to be in the room. Details are coming soon, but I wanted you to hear it here first. If Nashville showed you what’s possible, Atlanta is going to take it even further.

Stay tuned. This is just the beginning.

With love,
Tim Storey

The Miracle Mentality Podcast

Marshall Goldsmith has spent decades coaching the most successful people in the world. And what he's learned is this: the skills and behaviors that got you to where you are today are often the very things holding you back from where you need to go.

This isn't just theory. This is lived experience from someone who has worked with more top CEOs than anyone else. If you're serious about growth, leadership, and evolution you need to hear this conversation.

Listen now. Then leave us a review and let us know what resonated.

🎙️ Episode 39: Marshall Goldsmith: #1 Executive Coach Leadership Lessons from Coaching the World's Best CEOs

Marshall Goldsmith didn't set out to become the world's top executive coach, he discovered it.

As a young man eager to learn, he volunteered to serve coffee and assist with tasks just to be in the room with his mentor. When a speaking opportunity arose, Marshall was asked to lead a session with no prior experience. To his surprise, he succeeded, and the client requested him again. That moment launched a career that has transformed leaders across the globe.

Marshall is the world's leading executive coach and bestselling author of What Got You Here Won't Get You There, which has sold over 4 million copies. He has coached more top CEOs than anyone in the world and is known for helping successful people achieve greater fulfillment, alignment, and impact.

In this conversation, Marshall and I dive into:

●      The importance of self-awareness and why most successful people lack it

●      Why what got you here won't get you there and how to evolve your mindset

●      The power of servant leadership Marshall's journey from serving coffee to coaching CEOs

●      How to let go of ego and why it's the key to greater success

●      The behaviors that hold successful people back and how to break free

If you've ever felt like you're doing everything right but still not reaching your next level, this episode will show you what's missing.

Closing Message

Evolution requires letting go. Not just of what's not working, but sometimes of what is.

Marshall Goldsmith has built his entire career on helping successful people realize that the very behaviors that made them successful are now holding them back. And the only way forward is to let go of ego, embrace self-awareness, and be willing to evolve.

Nashville reminded me of that truth. The people who showed up weren't the ones who had it all figured out. They were the ones willing to admit they didn't and that's what made them grow.

Atlanta is next. June 20–21. You're hearing it here first.

Details are coming soon, but if Nashville taught you anything, it's this: the rooms you choose to be in matter. And this is one you don't want to miss.

With love,
Tim
