As we come out of Thanksgiving weekend, I want to pause and simply say thank you. Thank you for allowing me to speak into your life. Thank you for showing up for yourselves, your families, and your future. Gratitude has a way of resetting our perspective. It reminds us that even in challenging seasons, there are blessings, breakthroughs, and miracles still unfolding.
But I want to share something important with you. As we move toward the end of the year, most people slow down. They coast. They say, “I’ll reset in January.” And that’s exactly why so many people start the new year already behind. The people who win, the people who create real momentum are the ones who choose to finish strong.
That’s why we created the One-Day Lead With Love Mastermind on December 13th in San Diego. This isn’t a conference and it isn’t a lecture. I have studied her story, I have learned from her, and I can tell you that her ability to transform pain into purpose is nothing short of miraculous.
She did not just survive. She became a voice, an advocate, a leader, and a light for countless people walking through their own valleys. And now, she continues that mission with her upcoming book, Detours, a powerful work that explores how the unexpected turns in life can shape us, strengthen us, and ultimately guide us toward a future we never imagined.
Elizabeth is someone I am genuinely fond of, someone I deeply respect, and someone I consider a true comeback champion. I am grateful to share her wisdom with you today, because her story reminds us of something we all need to hear: no matter where you have been, no matter how dark the setback, there is always a path forward. There is always a detour that leads to destiny.
As we close out this week of gratitude, I want to remind you that thankfulness is not just a season, it is a strategy. It opens our eyes to the miracles already in motion and prepares us for the breakthroughs ahead. That is why I am especially honored to share the wisdom of Elizabeth Smart with you in this moment.
